The club is also one of the most successful clubs in South America having won a total of 34 official titles, including the Copa Libertadores six times. Boca Juniors is also the most successful club in international competitions with eight official titles, including three Intercontinental Cups and two Recopa Sudamericanas. Alianza Lima FC is a professional football club based in Lima, Peru. The club was founded in 1901 and is considered one of the most successful and popular teams in Peru, having won a record 25 Primera División (Peruvian First Division) titles. The team plays its home games at the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva in Matute, Lima, which it shares with local rivals Universitario de Deportes. The team's traditional colors are blue and white. Alianza Lima is one of the few teams in South America to have never been relegated from the top flight.
