Defensor Sporting FC is a professional football club from Uruguay that is based in Montevideo. It is one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1913. Known for their blue and black striped jerseys, Defensor Sporting has a rich history and has achieved success in domestic competitions, including multiple league titles and Copa Libertadores appearances. The club is also recognized for its youth development system, which has produced several talented players who have gone on to have successful careers both in Uruguay and internationally.
