Ruch Chorzow FC is a Polish professional football club based in Chorzow, Silesia. The club was founded in 1920 and currently plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of Polish football. Ruch Chorzow have had great success in the past, winning the Polish Championship 8 times and the Polish Cup 7 times. The club has also been runner-up in the Ekstraklasa on several occasions and holds the record for the most Polish SuperCup titles with 8. Ruch Chorzow have had many great players in their history, the most famous of which being Zbigniew Boniek who is considered one of the greatest Polish footballers of all time.
