CA Cerro FC is a professional football club from Uruguay, is a relatively young team founded in 1922, and is a member of the Primera División. The club has had some success in domestic competitions, including winning the Uruguayan Championship in 1986 and the Copa de Competencia in 1994. Despite not being one of the most notable teams in Uruguayan football, Cerro has a passionate fan base and continues to compete at a high level in the country's top division.
