Uniónistas de Salamanca FC is a Spanish football team based in Salamanca, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. Founded in 1923, it plays in Segunda División B – Group 1, holding home games at Estadio Helmántico, with a 6,000-seat capacity.
The club was founded in 1923 as Club Deportivo Uniónistas. It evolved from a group of students from the city's universities, who had founded a football team to play against the British students studying at Salamanca. The team initially played in the regional leagues of Castilla y León, achieving several promotions in its early history. In 1934, the team became professional and joined the Segunda División, where it played until 1940, when it was relegated due to the Spanish Civil War.
In the 1950s the team returned to the Segunda División and was promoted to the La Liga in 1957. The team was relegated at the end of the 1957-58 season but returned to the top division in 1960. The team remained in the La Liga until 1970, when it was relegated again. Since then, the team has been playing in the Segunda División and the lower divisions
